Dear core developers of NVDA, i would like to valuably and kindly please You for programmers discussion about The following new feature of NVDA. As many of us very probably knows, NVDA is ammazing screen reader also because it support reading WEB pages, which are being used in The various chat rooms. Javascript is being used for creating dynamic WEB pages content. NVDA is able to monitor several dynamic WEB pages text lines at The same time thank's to ammazing feature, that NVDA is getting this information by using non intrusive approach. Only if user is having The virtual cursor placed on those elements, NVDA is able to inform users, if some element have been changed. My very kind pleasment for programmers discussion and analysis is: What about triing to develope a new NVDA feature, which would enable users to automatically read The dynamically changed chunk on The WEB page. For example, if user is pressing CTRL+up or down arrow while working vith virtual buffer and if WEB page is loaded in To the gecko based or Microsoft Internet Explorer based virtual buffers, if pressing CTRL+up or down arrow key, NVDA can read The whole message on The chat room, not only one line, but whole message with several lines. So i AM meaning The chunk by those messages, which NVDA can read to users. Try to imagine, that there are some chat rooms, which are enabling users to decide, where new chat messages are being displaied. If on The uppest line, or on The last down line. So user can specifi, that he or she would want to have new messages placed on The last line. User could press CTRL+UP arrow, and new NVDA feature would start to intercept, if The chunk of text have been changed, updated by more precisely. And if yes, NVDA would read the text even if user would write some document in Microsoft Word for example. By using new hodkey, user would always have a possibility to read The chunk of text. It is inpossible not real to convince WEB masters of chat rooms, that every user in The chat room would have assigned The other live region number. Please, would You atleast try to think about it? Thank You very much.

Control+upArrow/downArrow reads by block elements, such as paragraphs, list items, etc. If each chat message is in a block element, this will work correctly.

If you want messages to read automatically, the author needs to implement ARIA live regions on the page.
