built-in function "jump to" . allowing you to move the review/mouse cursor to a saved position on the: flatreviewscreen/window/object. asociate saved positions with a program e.g. "paint". creating/viewing/deleting such positions. #1557

Hi,
Hmmm, can you at least provide the following please:

  • Name of the function and in which module it should be placed in.
  • What will the function do and return, if any.
  • Strategy to manage saved coordinates/points.
    When you write the specs, you might want to keep the following points handy:
  • Computers have different screen resolutions.
  • Names of programs and their layout changes between versions.
  • For tablets, screen orientation may change from time to time if the display is rotated.
    Since there is nothing whatsoever (function specs, how it can be used, etc.), I'd say let's put it aside for now. Thanks.

Since we have no means of contacting the original author of this ticket and he has not replied to @josephsl's #1557 (comment), can this ticket be closed as invalid? @ehollig
