Windows 7 x64 and NVDA Snapshot Main-4698
Open attached PDF with comboboxes;
From top of document, DOWN ARROW through PDF, NVDA will encounter combobox;

Expected: NVDA to read combobox, current item selected, and to remain in browse mode
Actual: NVDA will perform expected, but for one exception, which is it will switch to focus mode

ESC to switch to browse mode, DOWN ARROW to bottom of PDF, where NVDA will encounter the last combobox;
Expected: NVDA to read combobox, current item selected, and to remain in browse mode
Actual: NVDA will perform expected, but for one exception, which is it will switch to focus mode

Confirmed.

Technical: This happens because the combo box is an editable combo box, so it contains an editable text field. When NVDA sets focus to the combo box, focus is set to the editable text field, which isn't part of the buffer.
Changes:
Changed title from "Adobe Reader X 10.1.1: DOWN ARROW through form, when NVDA encounters a combobox, it will switch to browse mode" to "Adobe Reader X 10.1.1: DOWN ARROW through form, when NVDA encounters an editable combobox, it will switch to browse mode"
Milestone changed from None to near-term
