In virtual box when a vm is created it is not reported in the list of vms #2116

In virtual box when a vm is created it is not reported in the list of vms
after a vm is created, it does not show up in virtual box yet it is there in the list

What version of !VirtualBox? How many vms are in the list? What happens when you press up and down arrows in the list?

after a vm is created, it does not show up in virtual box yet it is there in the list

 when I arrow up and down in the list nothing is reported
running VirtualBox 4.1.8
3 vms are in the list

Can't confirm using snapshot main-5013 or 2012.1B1. Up/down arrows workas expected in the list, and VM's are read as normal.

could it be I am running 64 bit windows7? it does not work for me:

No. I've got Win7X64 and it works fine here.

@mhussaincov I think you are also the initial author of this issue. Is this problem still occuring for you with NVDA 2019.1.1?

@lukaszgo1, @k-kolev1985, @Novalis7747 do you by chance use Virtual box? Could you please test if this is still an issue in NVDA 2019.2 RC2? If not, I am tempted to close this issue as abandoned because we lost contact to the initial author.

I suspect it still is, however I am using quite old version of VB on my main machine. Will test and report back
