Hi,

Unfortnately I don't know when this problem appeared, but when NVDA is started, I am not being warned about existance of updated versions.
I am using main 5101.
However, when I select check for update from tools menu, NVDA normally report this information and open the necessary dialog.
Another member of the portuguese list confirm this problem.
The log file does not contain any information about this error, and the checkbox ]"Automatically Check for Updates to NVDA" is checked.

Hi Marlin, I think thats because you already were using the latest version and there was no newer.
Tomorrow it should work again because there will be a newer copy than your existing one.
If it is working as usual after the snapshot page updates, then please close this ticket.
Thanks.

Hi Mesar

I have checked using main 5089 when snapshot 5101 was already available.
Yesterday, I also have tested.

Thanks

An automatic update check will only happen a minimum of 24 hours after the last check. This can happen while NVDA is running, not just at startup.
