NVDA+TAB reports some objects strangely when in Browse Mode, particularly links. Links are generally reported as:

foo link linked focused foo

where "foo" is the text of the link. This form of reporting happens when the browse cursor is focused on a link. When it is not, you hear something about "offscreen focused".

I've only tested Internet Explorer 8 and 9 and this happens in both browsers.

the confusing thing here might be "link linked"

@geoff can you still reproduce this in newer versions of browsers?

This "linked" announcement happens also in focus mode. I guess it should mean "focused" instead of "linked", as it is when you press nvda+tabl on a button.
