NVDA doesn't read status of live icons in Windows 8 RP #2423

When the consumer preview of Windows 8 was out NVDA read the live icons in the start screen. For example if you arrowed over the weather icon you would hear a brief summery of the current weather conditions. These live icons now only speak the name of the icon, and not any content.

i to have noticed this. interestingly, if you use the object navigation to go to the object inside the current object, as in, NVDA pluss numpad 2, then use NVDA numpad 6 to go right, it reports it. but just not automaticly.

Hi,
This has been fixed in later releases - try at least 2013.2 and see if fixes this one.
