Hi, I've come across something quite strange. When trying to uplode a file to a ticket. IE 9 Will just crash when you go to the list of files in the File uplode dialog box. and NVDA will crash as well sometimes but not all the time. it's IE that's actually crashing but sometimes we will lose speech? IE 9 Version: 9.0.8112.16421 and Windows 7 64-Bit.

I just tried this here and can't reproduce; same configuration. Does it always happen? Can you provide exact steps to reproduce; e.g. hit the Attach file button, press the ... button, shift+tab twice, etc.?

Hi jteh, yes, it happends all of the time. 1. Hit the Brows Button. 2. Tab to your list of files and try and up and down aro through them, then my computer will go very sluggish and then IE will crash out. Hmmmm

Its OK in IE 8 in XP. A couple of thoughts, I too notice slow downs, and this seems to be due to my anti virus, MSSE looking at files while I'm moving up and down the list according to task manager. I wonder what anti virus you have? Also in the last day or so a few Windows updates for all operating systems seem to have been installed and if this is a laptop machine just going into standby or hibernation, it might be wise to do a restart and see if things go right again.

Hi, no it still does it after a restart. I'm using ClamWin Free Antivirus . Wich I think isn't the problem. Because they have put support into there program for Screen Readers.

This log fragment is related to Microsoft Word, so I think it might be the wrong part.

Hi,
I have been able to work out why this issue is happening. If you have the preview Paine turned on in Windows Explorer, it will make NVDA and other screen readers crash. So NVDA isn't alown on this issue. Thanks, Brendon

Hello,

This issue has been resolved. This issue was caused by the preview pain. Once this was turned off this issue didn't happen any more. This is the same with other screen readers. if anyone still gets this issue with the preview pain turned off please reopen. Thank you.
