Please provide specific issues, exact steps to reproduce, what you expected and what happened instead. A generalised idea that there are problems is insufficient.

In Firefox, the clear.cache buttons are due to NVDA not using the title provided by the author. The extraneous edit fields are actually present. They've been marked as presentational, but they can get focus, so Firefox ignores this. I'd argue this is bad authoring on Google's part, but need to discuss this with Mozilla.

Btw, this should be fixed along with #1354, which is in turn waiting on a Firefox fix.

Hello.
My biggest problem with the google groups and firefox is the extraneous edit fields as you described them. I have got automatic focus mode for carot movement enabled so trying to read a topick in google groups can be difficult because it keeps going in to focus mode as i read.
I hope mozila can fix this and i will try to see if i can report this problem to google as well.

@jcsteh This issue has more to do with certain Mozilla Firefox bugs as opposed to general NVDA deficiencies with the web or Google Groups. If my understanding is correct, could you please update us about the present status or progress made on relevant Mozilla bugs?

#1354 causes the content of these buttons (including the hidden input field) to be overridden by the label/title. In practical terms, this means this issue is fixed.
