When browsing the contact list in Instantbird, NVDA loses the focus (or it seems so). Everytime I press down or up arrow key, I get the message: "frame. list. {ocntactname}". On my Braille display, another message appears when I press the arrow key but it is quickly replaced by the contact name. Maybe it's not a "losing focus problem" but it happens with the new versions of Instantbird, whereas there wasn't this problem before.

On the other hands, the new Instantbird versions allow the received messages to be spoken directly.

This is fixed in Instantbird development builds, so the fix will be in the next release.

Should this be marked as needs external fix?

A necessary change in Instantbird broke this again (see Instantbird bug 2186). The real problem is actually MozillaBug:786508.

It's probably going to be easier to just hack around this in NVDA for now.

In [1b9e15d]:

In Instantbird, NVDA no longer reports useless information every time you move to a contact in the Contacts list.

Instantbird fires focus on a dead accessible first every time you focus a contact, so block focus on these.
