Also, are you switching layouts with something like alt+shift or control+shift each time, or have you already set Desktop and Windows explorer to the wanted layouts and are just moving focus between them expecting to hear NVDA announce the layout?

it stops changing.

we change the layout using alt+shift, the problem happens when we change the layout after a period of time not from the first time..

hi.

i can confirm this problem.

when using nvda for a moment, it stops changing keyboard laiout in explorer, control panel and etc.

on desktop it is ok.

win7sp1 32bit with russian locale

using nvda latest snapshot.

this issue doesn't happen in xp.
should i attach a log from xp to compare between the log of the problem and the log where it doesn't happen there?

any progress with this ticket?
NVDA in windows 7 still doesn't switch between different keyboard layouts uptill now.
it is really an annoying bug.
it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't when we switch between keyboard layout using alt+shift.

May be talking out of my hat, but has anyone tried it turning uac off?
Also, could some subtle windows update have affected it.

Might be worth testing the working version and see if it still does work.
I cannot here as I have no win 7 at my disposal just now.

which snapshot are you using now? from which branch?
i didn't see any new snapshots since friday i think.

This sounds like it has been resolved from #3008 (comment). Possibly related #7383
