On Field editing application "Message", NVDA is silent and does not state when the user deletes a letter,Or tries to navigate through typed words or lines.

Please be more specific. What application is this? Where can it be obtained? Please provide exact steps to reproduce the problem.

The only time cursoring through in an edit field occurs for me is in already ticketed areas of MS Access databases and parts of Goldwave. I think both of these have been investigated before though.

Home screen of Windows 8 has an application called "Message", which interacts with the facebook chat. There exists a specific location for write a message to someone. But when writing a message and try to delete it or Scroll through the words of the text, the nvda is muted during navigation.

Does this message app for Facebook still exist on Windows 8.1? CC @bhavyashah

I have never been good with Windows 8 Metro/Modern apps and such, but still, searching for 'message' in the Start menu yielded no programs as search results, leading me to believe that this app might no longer exist. @ehollig

According to Facebook, it looks like the messenger app is only available for Windows 10. As this issue is over 4 years old and I have not heard other issues regarding this reported, we are unable to contact the original poster, and it is discussing Windows 8, closing.
