MS Word 2010
On opening the font dialog with CTRL+D, NVDA announces the incorrect focus. Instead of announcing the font NVDA announces font color:, the focus is in the font edit/list box.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. In MS Word, press CTRL+D to open font dialog box.
  2. Focus is in font list box of the font tab page.
  3. NVDA announces font font color: before announcing the actual focus.

This isn't incorrect identification of focus. The issue is that NVDA is incorrectly identifying some of the labels as being part of the dialog caption. You can verify this with NVDA+tab.
Changes:
Changed title from "on oopening font dialog incorrect focus is anounced in font color control though the focus is in font control in MS Word." to "Extraneous dialog text in Ms Word font dialog"

I can confirm this using Word 2016. Although annoying, it is not life threatening.

I can reproduce this in MS Word 2016 on Windows 10 1809 Update with NVDA 2018.4 Beta 2.

This needs to be fixed by Microsoft, actually itseems this extra information is part of the dialog title. Not reporting them would mean not reporting the dialog title at all.
Closing as cantfix and needs external fix.

@Adriani90 I respectfully disagree. As per this commend by @jcsteh:

This isn't incorrect identification of focus. The issue is that NVDA is incorrectly identifying some of the labels as being part of the dialog caption. You can verify this with NVDA+tab.

This is an NVDA issue. Please reopen.
