When screen review mode is active, NVDA fails in letting the review cursor follow the system focus. This is particularly annoying when screen review mode is enabled and braille is tethered to it.
For example when opening the NVDA menu and pressing down arrow, preferences shows properly on the braille display under the review cursor. Another down arrow to tools still displays prefferences. Another down arrow to vocalizer shows configuration profiles, which is 2 down arrows after vocalizer.

This is still reproducible.

@michaelDCurran there are many issues related to screen review. Is there any priority for this to look into? In last years screen review has been impacted by significant changes which came with Windows 10 etc.

@LeonarddeR how is this now with automatich tetering etc? Is this issue still significant in NVDA 2019.1.1?

I think the problem is not related to the way braille is tethered, but rather to the way that screen review does not track the system focus.
