Comment 1 by ateu on 2014-07-27 21:48 When there is two events in the timeline, NVDA says list of 4 items. |
Yes, this still occurs, and even in Chrome |
@derekriemer If you still have the "definition_list.htm" attachment, could you please re-attach it to this issue? |
I'll create a new one. I think
```
data:text/html,<p>Hello</p><dl><dt>Coffee</dt><dd>A Yummy
drink</dd><dt>Milk:</dt><dd>A somewhat yummy drink</dd><dt>Apple
Juice</dt><dd>A yummy drink that makes my tummy hurt if I drink it too
fast</dd></dl><p>Hello again</p>
```
Should do the trick

@derekriemer can you still reproduce it? |
I tested with NVDA 2019.1.1 in Firefox 66.0.3 and Chrome 74, this issue is still reproducible. |
This is actually a duplicate of #3858, which also addresses semantics. Closing |

In a definition list, you get double the correct amount of items.
Both the dd and the dt item are rendered as different items, when they should both be the same item. This occurs in virtual buffers.
