That's almost surely a false positive, VBA32 must have flagged the installer of NVDA somehow.

False positive, but we need to try to get that rectified.

I think the easiest would be to submit the NVDA 2014.4 exe to VBA32 developers for analysis and to signal the false positive warning to them. Installed antivirus products usually have a feature for this, however this scan was done by Virustotal website. I don't know what facilities that website has for reporting false positives.

@jcsteh, there is nothing that NVDA can do with false positives, right?

Not directly, no. We need to try to figure out how to report issues like these to the relevant antivirus vendors, but this info isn't easy to find, especially for all the different vendors. Regardless, closing because the situation has almost certainly changed in three years.
