I have the latest version of NVDA installed (I can't seem to find the version number), and it works fine with Firefox. However, whenever I start NVDA with Chrome (version 39.0.2171.95 m), the page crashes. I get the "Aw, Snap!" error message. I have tried it on two different PCs (Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows Vista), with the same result.

I can't reproduce this with the same version of Chrome.

  • Do you know if you have the 64 bit version?
  • Are you able to test whether this occurs when NVDA isn't running? I assume it doesn't, but it'd be great to be certain.
  • Do you have any virus scanner installed?

I can use 64 bit Chrome on Windows 8 okay.
What page is Chrome opening? what extensions do you have installed?
