As the summary quite clearly implies, auto-numbers and bullets are not reported automatically in MS Powerpoint 2007.
To reproduce this issue, type 1. in a placeholder object and then press Enter. Although, 2. has automatically been entered, NVDA did not report it automatically.
Similarly, * can be used to reproduce this issue with bullets.

When editing in Microsoft PowerPoint, pressing enter now reports automatically entered text such as a bullet or number.
