It would be nice if certain attributes like highlight, underline, bold etc could be displayed in braille using both dot 7 and 8 or one of these dots. Now there is no feedback in braille when selecting part of a text and underlining links might be useful on websites, for example.

Implemented in cf78714. Italic, underline and bold are now communicated if the translation table defines them. Selection is covered by #889.

Hi,

I suggest, that this ticket reopens itself, because many liblouis tables don't implement optcodes for bold/italic and other atributes. Moreover marking with dots 78 makes potential user to bolded text or text with other atribute (italic, underlined, typewriter, colored...) quicker deu to marking on whole row if text is longer... Same discussion is at ticket #1885 #3022 and others.
