When navigating through Windows Explorer, Local Disk (C), etc., and selecting or highlighting the desire item, the NVDA would occasionally say, "unselected". It (i.e. NVDA) would not also identify/indicate the slected/highlighted item. That's, a user should be able to re-check or verify the selected/highlighted item to be sure.

Hi,
I'm tempted to close this as duplicate of either #1839 or some other ticket.

We don't say selected by default for such items because that's the default state and it would thus get rather annoying. However, you can already confirm this by pressing NVDA+tab, in which case NVDA will report the selected state.
