This works fine for me here. Please add steps to reproduce and which browser you are using.
Please don't fill tickets against 2010.2 because it is near completion. The developers change the milestone if they want.

Using latest Firefox.
Sine in to Yahoo and try to creat a message.
When you land in the message body and try to type, doesn't announce, not even navigating with cursor.
But when you are out of the edit feald cursoring up and down reads normally...

Do you use he classic or the new interface?

Closing, since there has been no activity on this in over a year and the Yahoo! Mail interface has changed significantly since then, including major accessibility enhancements. Please reopen if the problem persists.
